Data Reporting
The organization shall report on cloud data protection, providing visibility into data security, compliance, and protection status. Reporting shall include data protection summaries, compliance reports, and incident reports.
This requirement reduces risk in cloud data protection by ensuring data reporting is defined, consistently implemented and demonstrably effective across cloud environments. It supports the organization's need to secure cloud-based assets, data and services while managing cloud-specific risk.
Report cloud data protection status, encryption coverage, access risks, backup/recovery results, compliance issues and material exceptions.
